Is it true that the 'Jews, Muslims and Christians are all children of Abraham'and 'Muslims believe in one God, the same God who is worshipped by Jews and Christians'?

Throughout the Bible, Abraham is held up as being the model of faith in the true and living God. To follow that example, the Church needs to be absolutely clear about the object of Abraham's belief. That is the need in every generation but it is heightened today by the confusion that appears to exisst in the West, even among the Christian Church, about the identity of the God of Abraham. Thus we find the popular views that adherents of the major faiths are all children of Abraham and worship the same 'God'.

In The Children of Abraham , the author examines what the Bible says it means to be a child of Abraham - to follow in his footsteps of faith. Part one examines the way that the true and living God revealed Himself to Abraham. Part Two studies the object of faith of those who came after Abraham, from the other Patriarchs to the post-Pentecost Church. In studying the Bible's message about the true living God who spoke through His Word to Abraham and his descendants' so we can hear the same God speak, drawing us in love to Himself.
